Our Inspiring Story

The Beginnings of SWFL Robotics

Southwest Florida Robotics (SWFL Robotics) is a dynamic non-profit club founded by middle & high school students (grades 7-12) with a deep passion for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Our mission is to foster and support the growth of STEM education by engaging students in hands-on experiences, such as building and competing in robotics competitions like FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics. SWFL Robotics is registered as Team # 27149 in the Gulf Coast Robotics League. FIRST results: FTC Event Web : Team 27149 We believe that by providing opportunities for students to explore and develop their interests in these fields, we are helping to cultivate the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Located in the Fort Myers, FL area, SWFL Robotics proudly serves students across the entire Southwest Florida region. Our club thrives thanks to the generous contributions of time, financial support, and facilities from our valued sponsors and community partners. Their dedication and generosity have been instrumental in enabling us to create a vibrant and supportive environment where students can learn, collaborate, and succeed. At SWFL Robotics, we are committed to making STEM education accessible and exciting, empowering students to achieve their full potential and inspiring them to pursue careers in these critical fields.
